How KetoNoir Science Works

The rules every film and written companion follows before it is published. If one breaks a rule, tell us and we will fix it in public.

Primary sources first

We cite the paper, not a headline about the paper. Every source links to its DOI, PubMed record or publisher page, so you can read it yourself.

Size and shape on every study

Next to each source you will see what kind of evidence it is and how big it was: how many people, for how long, and whether the food was provided.

The fine print is not optional

Every post has a fine print section with the limits of the evidence: small samples, short trials, who paid for the work and the authors’ ties to industry.

Measured, not promised

We report what a study measured, in its own terms. We do not say a food, a diet or an app treats a condition.

Dated checks

Each post shows the date its sources were last checked against the papers.

Reviewed before it goes up

Every post is read and approved by our founder, Terry Cree II, before it is published. The review date is on the post.

Corrections in public

Send an error to support@ketonoir.ai. We correct it, date the fix and note it on the post.

Who we are

KetoNoir makes a keto tracking app. Posts filed under Inside the App are about our product and say so. Every other post is education, and the app card at the end is marked as ours.

How posts are made

Each post is the written companion to a KetoNoir film. It is drafted with AI assistance from the film’s research file and checked against the primary papers. Our films use an AI narrator voice and some AI generated footage. Every number on screen comes from a cited source.

Not medical advice

KetoNoir Science is education. Talk to your doctor before you change your diet or medication.
